We are specialized in manufacturing international quality Wheatgrass Powder since 1998 on our owned prime agricultural land at Akluj. This natural, organic food supplement is being pioneered by Mr. Chandrakant N. Girme (B.Sc; N.D.). He is a practicing Doctor of Naturopathy specialized in Wheatgrass Therapy. It’s a family owned enterprise wherein his son Mr. Hemant looks after the product development and marketing.

Girme’s Wheatgrass is grown perennially in polyhouses using organic soil media. New sowing and harvesting is done daily all year round. The Wheatgrass is grow for 7 days and then harvested at the ‘jointing stage’ when the maximum nutrition content is ‘stored’ in its tender blades of grass. It is then dehydrated indoors naturally (without direct sunlight / mechanism) and grinded into fine Powder thus retaining its natural nutritional value.

Articles about our project were published in Marathi daily ‘Sakal’ (05 Oct ‘05), ‘Kesari’ (6 Jun ‘01) and ‘Navakal’ (22 Jan ’07). The national TV Channel- Doordarshan also showcased an interview and information about our project in 2001.

Our mission is to increase awareness about Wheatgrass Powder and provide quality product to the consumer. Mr. C. N. Girme is also the author of a book titled: “Wheatgrass – Nature’s Gift to Mankind”, which provides valuable information about  Wheatgrass Powder and its practical applications.
