Wheat Grass Powder production process: At our farms we grow the Wheatgrass on ground all year round in batches under green shed net houses using organic farming method. New sowing, harvesting and processing is done daily all year round. We take a single crop from each bed of wheat seedling.

In our tropical climate the Wheat Grass vegetable grows quickly, absorbs 92 out of 110 minerals from the soil and is ready to harvest in 7 – 10 days. We then harvest the ripe Wheatgrass vegetable by hand, chopping carefully one inch above the ground sort, wash, dehydrated in solar tunnel dryer and finally grind into fine Powder using a low intensity pulveriser machines. 

The top soil layer (about 4 inch) from harvested beds is manually sliced and stacked aside for composting. The recycled fertile organic soil is then reused after 2 months for next seeding. This indigenous process refined by years of perfection ensures that maximum beneficial nutrients are retained in our Girme’s Wheatgrass Powder.
